March 13th, 2010 = Lucy's First Time Walking

So, this isn't necessarily her first time walking, but it occurred within the same hour...

The babbler, the walker, & the burper...

Happy ALMOST Spring...

It dawned on me on Feb. 28, 2010 (Lucy's 10 month birthday) that our "little" girl is going to be 1 year old in 2 short months. YIKES! I mean, it's inevitable that she will get older, but GOSH this happened too fast!


So, what is Lucy doing now? Well, she is quite an active little girl. She babbles and makes up words for her favorite objects, she points at everything with her little "pointer" finger (she's definitely right handed), and she is on the MOVE... often faster than the moms can keep up! She's crawling at light speeds, but she's furniture surfing and using EVERYTHING as a walking aid... her toys, her high chair, and particularly any person who will spend time holding onto her little fingers. She likes to explore and she loves the outdoors- thankfully, the weather has been semi-cooperative recently. We can't wait until we can spend the evenings & weekends on our back deck enjoying the beautiful weather!
